WEST SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- The Athletics defeated the Seattle Mariners 5-4 in a crucial MLB matchup. Miguel Andujar led the charge for the A's with two home runs, while Jeffrey Springs delivered a strong performance on the mound, pitching six solid innings.
