The San Diego Padres defeated the Arizona Diamondbacks 8-2 on June 15, 2025, in Phoenix. Key to the Padres' victory was a dominant pitching performance by Nick Pivetta, who allowed just two hits over seven innings, and strong offensive contributions including a home run by Jake Cronenworth and four hits from Fernando Tatis Jr. The win ended the Padres' three-game losing streak and snapped the Diamondbacks' five-game winning streak. While Arizona's home run streak continued to 10 games with a blast from Eugenio Suárez, it wasn't enough to overcome San Diego's offense. The Diamondbacks finished their homestand 5-1. This game was played at Chase Field in Phoenix.
